10th Board 2020-2021 criterion Decided
Long awaited results criterion of academic year 2020-2021 for 10th have been finally declared by CBSE Board
Check it out now
Earlier the criterion for result declaration of class 10th was as follows
20 marks for internal and 80 from year end boards
But due to cancellation of class 10th board the following criterion is been decided
(a) based on the marks scored by the candidate in the different tests/exams conducted by the school during the year.
(b) the marks should be in consonance with the past performance of the school in Class X Board examinations.
For final results, each school will have to constitute a Result Committee that will consist of the Principal and seven teachers - five from Mathematics, Social Science, Science, and two languages, along with two teachers from neighbouring school
Weightage to each exam will be given as follows:
Pre-boards- 40 marks
Unit tests- 10 marks
Half-yearly- 30 marks
/mid-terms
Total. 80 marks
If school has conducted more than one exam in each category, the Result Committee may fix the weightage to be given to each test within the category, subject to overall maximum marks for that category.
For example, if a school has conducted two or three pre board exams it may decide to take an average of the three exams.
Take the best performance in the three tests or give a weightage to each exam considered suitable.
